It’s scary, I know. But it usually means something needs to change, and you want to learn how to navigate it. I’m Rodericka. I’m here to help you understand your thoughts and feelings so that you can have healthier habits, healthier relationships, and a happier life.

New Leaf Therapy offers both in-person and virtual sessions, so everyone in The Bahamas has access to safe, effective mental health services.
I’m a counselling psychologist, Bahamian born and raised from the beautiful island of Exuma. I sacrificed my social life to earn a Psychology degree from the University of The Bahamas and a Master’s in Counselling Psychology from UWI Cave Hill, all to learn the tools needed to educate and empower others. Since 2022 I’ve sat with adults and couples through their hardest seasons as they walk into their best ones.
I believe in showing up to my sessions as my authentic self, so my clients feel free to be themselves too. So expect honesty, sarcasm, science facts, analogies, questions, creative interventions, the occasional joke, safety, compassion… and homework.
